  • Functional coffee has been around for years, but it has rarely felt culturally relevant. It has either leaned into nostalgic craft codes or into clinical wellness aesthetics. Nooz set out to define a new visual territory between those two extremes.

    The brand combines specialty cold brew with natural nootropics, so the identity needed to communicate quality, clarity and performance without feeling exclusive or medicinal. The solution was to build a bold but disciplined brand system rooted in elevation.

    The name NOOZ is set vertically, forming a strong typographic spine across the can. This creates a distinctive shelf silhouette and powerful brand blocking when displayed together. The upward orientation subtly reinforces the idea of lift and mental clarity. The logo becomes a structural device rather than a decorative element.

    Colour plays a central role in the identity. Each SKU carries a saturated, confident hue within a controlled typographic framework. This allows immediate flavour recognition while maintaining a cohesive system. The palette brings energy and optimism to the category without visual noise.

    Functionality is communicated with restraint. Instead of heavy scientific language or pharmaceutical cues, ingredient highlights are simplified and benefit-led. The tone shifts from problem solving to empowerment. Nooz does not position itself as something corrective. It supports focus and performance as part of a daily ritual.

    The system was designed to scale. The vertical logo anchor remains constant while colour and product information flex, allowing seamless expansion across new flavours, formats and markets. The identity extends naturally into digital applications, social templates and art direction, creating a cohesive brand world built around determination, clarity and individuality.

    In a saturated beverage landscape, memorability depends on conviction. Through strong typography, decisive colour and a clear conceptual foundation, Nooz establishes a distinct and contemporary expression of performance coffee.
